Hey, guys! Nice to see you around here. As you can see this is gonna be the first of my (hopefully) many series of blog entries. I'm not used to blogging all that much. so pardon the occasional awkwardness, baby! =)

Anyway, I was alone in my room reading a little bit of Gregory Maguire's 'Wicked' while in my favorite blue undies. Being a fan of the old 'Wizard of Oz' story, I was immediately hooked! I dunno about you guys but I have this little habit of rating the sexiness of fictional characters whenever I read a book or watch a movie. And while reading the book and comparing the characters to a lot of the other things I've read and watched--I discovered that for some reason I really LOVE older men, in general, much moire than men my age or younger.

There may be exceptions but i found myself more drawn to characters like the religiously zealous Frex and the old Wizard of Oz himself rather than the younger characters in the book. What accounts for such a fascination? I pried through my past relationships and sexual encounters to pinpoint at least a few factors why I think in general, men are like wine--they grow better with age.

A few reasons why older men are sexier:

1. Experience: No matter how big your gun is, if you aren't trained to use it chances are you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn! Well, it doesn't always have to be sex. Not only do they know how to push right, they also know important things like where to touch you, how to hold you, and most importantly what to give you on your birthday...

2. Authority: Let's face it, whatever people say about ideal relationships and equality, women are REALLY attracted to power and men who are in control. And more often than not, it's the older men who have the fair share of this one. Sometimes women like being told what to do... Old feminist leanings aside.

3. Thrill: There's a certain sense of danger and excitement involved in being with older men seeing the societal stigma that comes with it. And if you're like me and you like living on the edge, going for older men is definitely the way to go! Usually going for older men and married men involve a lot of the same factors anyway...

4. Security: Unless you like me, have had forays with older homeless people (haha), chances are your older man will have a better paying job, better looking car and a more expensive watch than the young stud who is just starting out in life. This isn't always the case but admittedly, it usually is. Sorry, boys =)

5. The look: There's something about older men that is really such an enormous turn-on! Why go for clean cut boys next door like Zac Efron when you can have the gentleman sophistication of a Richard Gere, the weathered manliness of a Sean Connery or the ruggedness of a Michael Douglas? It's really a no contest! I imagine these men sweeping me off my feet and doing it for 5 mindblowing hours with me. Sheer bliss!
