IDREES HARRIS (born sept,1,1985), better known for his stage name DREES, is an American rapper/Hip-Hop artist. Originally from whitehall housing projects in frankford. DREES was born during the peak years of the 1980’s during the crack epidemic. At a very young age DREES witness a lot of drug usage and death from people that was close to him. While growing up in Philadelphia’s deadliest housing project. DREES knew it was money in drugz when he was young cuz his famliy was in the game. DREES did'nt like school gettin kicked out of 3 schools.DREES started writing raps at the age of 14. That would eventually spark his interest in hip-hop. As a youngin in the hood, DREES came up admiring great rappers such as Tupac Shakur,, The Notorious B.I.G.,Jay-z,Jadakiss,DMX,Bone Thugz-n-Harmony and local rappers such as REDBRICK,RAM Squad,Beanie Segal,and Major Figgas. at a young age DREES refused to be a victim of the streets of Philadelphia. Learning that only the strong survive,death before dishonor,DREES turned to the streets at the age of 14 salein crack not havin his father and his life and seeing his mother struggle he made his self a man DREES moved out of frankford after gettin n trouble with the law and was put on house arrest. DREES played around with rappin with his friends WYZ,CLIPPY,BIGGIE,AND GAUGE.Startin a group called SHELLS.P when his friend WYZ moved away the group felled apart. DREES went solo he started battlein for his respect then at the age of 17 DREES hook up with a rapper he known from his hood named RICH WHITE, who new to other rapper SHIZZ,and ANT, who form a group called DA CAMP everything waz going good for the group and then the group found theyself about to get signed by JIVE where they had to battle one of JIVE ARTIST where he was only comein at RICH WHITE where DREES had to step in the battle and chewed him up after the battle the JIVE ARTIST, called DREES a monster where DREES raned with the name but then the group start havein problem when SHIZZ,AND ANT, stold DREES hook for one of they song so DREES left the group. but him and RICH WHITE remained friend then they got arrested and they friendship ended.and DREES went back to salein drugs DREES had no problems he was makein money and had a wify everything waz good intel DREES raned into the law onemore time after he was just arrest 1 month ago and got lock up for 6 months and did 5 months on house arrest for carryin a gun money and drugs when DREES came home he went back to the streets and started his own group called BACKBLOCK HEVENZ and hook up with his girlfriend cuzin ACE FLAMEZ,and some of his old group members WYZ,CLIPPY and added a young rapper 1 TON, group hook out with YOUNG VISSHUS and his group S.B.M where the rest is history
